Terms of Service, effective 09-12-2007

1. IOU.info is a free iou note reminder service. If you receive any email soliciting money or personal information, please notify us immediately - this is likely a "phishing" or bogus email.


2. As a user, you agree to the following:


• You will not degrade, harm, or bother others with IOU.info's services.


• You will submit requests appropriate for audiences aged teenage and higher ( R - Rated, for example ).


• You will not hack, ruin, or otherwise attempt to compromise the website.


• You will not create automated scripts that generate enormous IOU requests or bogus email addresses.


• You will alert IOU.info staff - support@iou.info - of any activity relating to the operation of IOU.info that you find offensive, damaging, or potentially harmful to others.

IOU.info reserves the right to suspend and/or delete a user account for violation of any of the above rules; or any other reason IOU.info deems significant.

3. All user personal details, such as Name and conditions of the IOU are confidential, unless the user agrees to share an IOU with the general public.

Users will be emailed by IOU.info staff personally if IOU.info would like to post their IOU in the "Monthly Top 5 Crazy IOU's". Your personal details will not be posted with the IOU request under the top 5 list - only the IOU subject matter.

4. Since IOU.info is a free service, the user accepts that IOU.info will subsidize operations by sending occassional email marketing materials with product offerings and advertising. If you do not wish to receive such emails, please notify us so that we can remove you from our list.
